Congratulations to Tegh Kaur Bhatia, a talented young vocalist from the United States, for winning both the Gold Prize and the Emotional Artistry Special Prize in the Junior Category (Ages 8–10) at the Berlioz International Music Competition 2026 Season 2 (Season Period: March 10 - June 10, 2026).
In her own heartfelt words, Tegh shares her gratitude, inspiration, and dreams for the future:
“Hello everyone. My name is Tegh Kaur Bhatia. I'm 10 years old and in fourth grade. I live in Massachusetts, USA. Music is my passion. I love singing. It makes me happy. I've been singing since I was 3 years old. I sang My Heart Will Go On by Selen Dion in the Berlioz International Music Competition and won the gold prize and the emotional artistry special prize. This is a moment I will never forget. I want to give a very special thanks to my amazing singing teacher, Miss Sabi, for believing in me, encouraging me, and helping me to become a better singer every day. I also want to thank my mom and dad for taking me to music lessons, events, competitions, and open mics, listening to me practice over and over again, cheering me on, and always supporting me. My dream is to become a famous singer, musician, and a song writer one day. I know I still have a lot to learn, but this award inspires me to keep practicing, keep performing, and never give up on my dream. Thank you.”
