🎉 Congratulations to Jiwoo Jeong, a gifted young violinist representing South Korea / Vietnam, on winning the First Prize and the Best Vivaldi Performance Special Prize in the Youth Category (Age 11–13) at the Vivaldi International Music Competition 2026 Season 1 (Season Period: 19 Dec 2025 – 19 Mar 2026).
Jiwoo also shared a personal reflection on her musical journey, offering insight into her growth, dedication, and the support that has shaped her path:
Jiwoo’s journey in music has been one of steady growth shaped by dedication, guidance, and unwavering family support.
From her early steps with the violin, Jiwoo has shown a sincere love for music. Over time, her playing has evolved with greater depth, sensitivity, and discipline. This growth has been especially influenced by the recent guidance of her teacher, Ms. Seul-bi Lee at Yonsei Music Academy. Through her thoughtful and precise teaching, Jiwoo has learned not only technical refinement but also how to express her musical voice with confidence and sincerity.
Behind this progress stands the warm and constant support of her parents. Their encouragement has given Jiwoo the stability and courage to continue her journey, even through challenges. As a family, they have shared both the effort and the belief required to pursue music with dedication.
Participating in the Vivaldi International Competition has been a meaningful milestone in Jiwoo’s journey. It reflects not only her achievement, but also the collective strength of guidance, perseverance, and family support that has shaped her path.
