Reflecting on his music journey and these notable milestones, Won Chu shared his thoughts on what playing the violin means to him:
"I am truly honored to receive the Silver Prize and the Expressive Musical Genius Special Prize (at Global Genius Music Competition). Thank you to the judges for this special recognition. I would also like to thank my teacher and my mom for always encouraging me. The violin is my peace, my passion, and the reason I live. Thank you for this unforgettable experience."
"I am so happy to have the violin as part of my life at the age of ten. Whenever I play, all my worries and thoughts seem to disappear, and I can simply lose myself in the music. The violin gives me a special kind of happiness, and I hope to keep playing, learning, and enjoying violin for many years to come."
"I am truly grateful to my teacher, who always guides me with endless passion, and to my mom, who is always by my side, giving me courage and confidence so that I never give up. Violin brings me both excitement and a little fear, but through this competition, I was able to gain more confidence in myself. I believe this is only the beginning. I will continue to work hard so that I can grow into a more thoughtful violinist and express my own unique colors through violin."
