"Hello, this is Tyler Zahnke, a totally blind singer, keyboardist and composer from Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. When I got my silver medal in the mail, I felt like a true musician! I have been composing music for over twenty years, and I consider my multi-instrumental composition The Ambient Phases of Life to be a highlight of my music career. When I discovered the World Grand Prix Music Contest in December 2025 while looking for composition contests online, I knew I was in for a treat! I love sharing the virtual stage with musicians from all over the world, and receiving this medal has truly motivated me to prepare for my upcoming college piano recital, and when I graduate with a piano performance degree, I will think of how this competition has filled me with true musical spirit!"
