Young violinist Luna Cappia from Argentina has earned the Absolute First Prize and the Vivaldi Captivating Expression Special Prize in the National Music category at the Vivaldi International Music Competition 2026 – Season 2 (19 March–19 June 2026). Congratulations to Luna on this outstanding achievement! 🎻🏆✨
Reflecting on her achievement, Luna shares:
"I would like to sincerely thank the jury and the international competition committee for this wonderful award. It is a great honor for me to receive this recognition while performing Oblivion by Ástor Piazzolla. As an Argentine musician, I feel very proud to represent the country through the music of one of our greatest composers. I am also very happy to bring this medal to Latin America and to Argentina. This award encourages me to keep studying, practicing, and growing as a musician. I would like to thank my family, my teachers and everyone who has supported me on this journey. Congratulations to all the talent participants and thank you for giving young musicians from all over the world in this amazing opportunity. Thank you again. I hope to see you again in a future edition of the competition."
