We are honoured to feature young flautist Giorgi Khonelidze from Georgia, recipient of the Platinum Prize in the Young Artist (Age 14–17) category at the Carl Reinecke International Music Competition 2026 Season 2, held during the season period from 1 March to 1 June 2026.
Following this wonderful achievement, Giorgi shared his heartfelt appreciation and reflected on the support and encouragement that have inspired his musical journey:
"Hello everyone. My name is Giorgi Khonelidze. I'm 15 years old and I'm from Georgia. I am very happy and honors to win the platinum prize in the Carl Reinecke International Music Competition 2026, the second season. I would like to thank the competition organizers for this wonderful opportunity. Thank you to my teachers for their hard work, support, and belief in me. I also would like to thank my parents for always encouraging me and helping me achieve my dreams. This award inspires me to keep practicing and doing my best. Thank you very much."
