Winner's Speech | Emma Fukuda | Violin | UK International Music Competition 2026

Following this wonderful achievement, Emma shared her heartfelt appreciation and reflected on the special place the violin holds in her life, as well as her hope to bring comfort and healing to others through music:

"I am truly honored and delighted to receive such a wonderful award. Thank you very much. For me, the violin is a special companion that helps me express who I am. Through its sound, I can hear not only joy, sadness, and many other feelings, but also emotions that are difficult to put into words. To me, the sound of the bowing is both a source of comfort and reflections of my heart. I hope that one day I will be able to play the violin in a way that brings comfort and healing to others. With that hope in mind, I will continue to learn, role, and devote to myself to develop. Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the organizers for creating this wonderful opportunity to connect performers from all around the world and to the judges for taking the time to listen to my performance. Thank you very much for this precious opportunity and for this award."
