Young Singaporean musician Chen Yan Xuan Mika has earned the Silver Prize and the Saint-Saëns Special Award for Outstanding Musicality in the Prodigy Category for her piano performance at the 2025 Season 4 Saint-Saëns International Music Competition. Congratulations!🎉

"Hi my name is Chen Yan Xuan Mika from Singapore. I am very happy and thankful to share that I won Silver Prize and Outstanding Musicality at the Saint-Saëns International Music Competition. Music is a big part of my life. I love learning and growing by joining masterclasses, performing in concerts, and listening to many different kinds of music. I play not only the piano, but also the violin and drums. Music makes me brave, happy, and curious. I would like to say a very big thank you to my daddy and mommy for giving me time, support, and resources to learn music. Especially my mommy , thank you for teaching me, practicing with me every day, and always staying by my side. Thank you to all my wonderful teachers for guiding and inspiring me, including Ms. Shao Qian, Mr. Wu Han Chou, and other teachers who have helped me on my music journey. I am still small, but I dream big. I will keep practicing, keep listening, and keep loving music with all my heart. Music teaches me that if I try my best and never give up, beautiful things will happen."
