Shim Jae Yeon, Principal Flutist of Seoul Classical Players and DCMF Orchestra, is a renowned flutist and leader in the music community. She graduated from Seoul Arts High School, Seoul National University College of Music, and holds a Master’s degree and Artist Diploma from New England Conservatory. As the Leader of the WoodFive Woodwind Ensemble, she showcases her artistry in chamber music. Shim also serves as Chairman of the Daejeon Symphony Orchestra Cooperative, Director of the Daejeon Branch of the Korea Music Association, and Director of Seoul Nanum Music Group. She is a dedicated educator, teaching at Soongsil University Conservatory and Kyewon Arts Middle and High School.
